אגרטל Alvar Aalto Collection vase 220mm, 6411923660013

Inspired by the thousands of lakes in his native Finland, design pioneer Alvar Aalto’s fluid waves (“aalto” in Finnish) shape made quite a splash when it won the 1937 Paris World Fair. Since then, it’s become a staple of Scandinavian home design. The legendary Aalto vase seamlessly combines function and sculpture. Each unique Aalto glass vase goes through a multi-step production process at the Iittala Glass Factory. The crystal is mouthblown then the pieces are hand cut before going through several polishings. The tall vase is ideal for long-stemmed flower arrangements. Cool rain adds calm and elegance. A striking piece of home décor and a perfect gift idea
